Installation and Equipment
Professional installation is included with your service. You are responsible for providing access to your property and maintaining a suitable environment for our equipment. Rented equipment remains our property and must be returned upon service termination.
3. Customer Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information as necessary to maintain its accuracy.
4. Billing and Payment
Payment Terms
Service fees are billed monthly in advance. Payment is due by the date specified on your bill. Late payments may result in service suspension or termination.
Automatic Payment
By enrolling in automatic payment, you authorize us to charge your designated payment method for recurring monthly charges and any applicable fees.
Fees and Charges
You are responsible for all charges associated with your account, including service fees, equipment rental, installation charges (if applicable), and any applicable taxes.
No Contracts
Our services are provided on a month-to-month basis with no long-term contracts required. You may cancel your service at any time with appropriate notice.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use our services responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. Prohibited activities include:
- Illegal activities or distribution of illegal content
- Spamming, phishing, or other malicious communications
- Network abuse, hacking, or unauthorized access attempts
- Excessive bandwidth usage that impacts other customers
- Hosting servers or running commercial operations (residential plans)
- Distributing copyrighted material without authorization
Violation of this policy may result in service suspension or termination without notice.
6. Equipment
Provided Equipment
We provide necessary equipment for service delivery, including modems, routers, and fiber optic equipment. This equipment remains our property throughout your service term.
Equipment Care
You are responsible for the proper care and use of our equipment. You will be charged for repair or replacement costs if equipment is damaged due to misuse, neglect, or theft.
Equipment Return
Upon service termination, all equipment must be returned within 30 days. Failure to return equipment will result in charges for the full replacement cost.
7. Service Interruptions
While we strive for 99.9% uptime, internet services may be occasionally interrupted due to:
- Scheduled maintenance and network upgrades
- Weather events and natural disasters
- Equipment failures or technical issues
- Third-party infrastructure problems
- Emergency repairs or security measures
We will provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance when possible. No credits or refunds are provided for brief service interruptions or scheduled maintenance.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Altrastreams shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or loss of profits.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Altrastreams from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which services are provided, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on our website. Material changes will be communicated through:

Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
